"È dura non poter partecipare agli US Open quest’anno. Non vedevo l’ora di tornare a stare insieme ai tifosi, rivedere gli amici e i partner. New York ha un posto speciale nel mio cuore. Per ora, torno a concentrarmi sul recupero e sul lavoro per tornare ancora più forte". Con queste parole, affidate al suo canale Instagram, Jannik Sinner ha aggiornato e rassicurato i tifosi sul suo recupero.

Il numero 1 del mondo, assente dal giorno della finale di Wimbledon vinta contro Alexander Zverev lo scorso 12 luglio, prevede di rientrare per l'inizio della stagione in Asia. E' infatti nella lista degli iscritti per l'ATP 500 di Pechino.
